Children with glaucoma, cataract, anterior segment malformation, coloboma, retinal degeneration, retinopathy of prematurity, ocular trauma, amblyopia, strabismus, cortical visual impairment, nystagmus, acquired and developmental neurological conditions including developmental delay and autism, learning differences, dyslexia, concussion, hydrocephalus papilledema, headache, optic atrophy, genetic and metabolic conditions, and incompletely understood condition are typically referred by other physicians for diagnosis, treatment, and surgery or brought by a parent for another opinion. Older children and adults with similar concerns can also be seen for prenatal consultation, treatment, ongoing care, and to understand patterns of inheritance.
